Niederkassel is a town located in the Rhein-Sieg district of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It has a population of approximately 37,000 people and is situated on the right bank of the Rhine river.
The town is positioned roughly 10 kilometers (6 miles) north-east of Bonn and 15 kilometers (9 miles) south-east of Cologne. It is subdivided into seven distinct quarters: Mondorf, Rheidt, Niederkassel, Uckendorf, Stockem, Lülsdorf, and Ranzel.
