Meiderich is a quarter located within the city of Duisburg in Germany. It is geographically divided into three distinct sections known as Untermeiderich, Mittelmeiderich, and Obermeiderich.
The area belongs to the larger city district of Meiderich/Beeck, which was established in 1975 during a period of municipal reorganization. As of December 31, 2004, the Meiderich/Beeck district had a population of 75,000 residents and comprises seven quarters: Beeck, Beeckerwerth, Bruckhausen, Laar, Mittelmeiderich, Obermeiderich, and Untermeiderich.
