Kleve

Kleve is a town located in the Lower Rhine region of northwestern Germany, situated near the River Rhine and the Dutch border. It serves as the capital of the district of Kleve within the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Historically, the city served as the capital of a county and subsequently a duchy from the 11th century onwards. In the modern era, Kleve is home to one of the campuses of the Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences.
