Hörstel is a town located in the district of Steinfurt within the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is situated approximately 10 kilometers east of the city of Rheine.
The town is geographically positioned near the junction of two significant waterways: the Mittellandkanal and the Dortmund-Ems Canal.
