Hilden is a medium-sized industrial town located in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is situated within the District of Mettmann, positioned on the right side of the Rhine river.
The town is geographically located approximately 10 km west of Solingen and 15 km east of Düsseldorf. In addition to its industrial character, Hilden features a forest area and various local attractions.
