Hiddenhausen is a municipality located in the district of Herford within the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It serves as a local administrative area situated in the western part of the country.
The municipality was established in 1969 during a regional reform of the Herford district. This formation resulted from the combination of several surrounding villages, specifically Lippinghausen, Eilshausen, Schweicheln-Bermbeck, Hiddenhausen, Oetinghausen, and Sundern.
