Grevenbroich is a town located in the Rhein-Kreis Neuss district within the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is situated on the river Erft and lies approximately 15 km southwest of Neuss and 15 km southeast of Mönchengladbach. The city is also positioned within a 30 km reach of both Cologne and Düsseldorf.
The town is notable for hosting the Frimmersdorf Power Station. This facility was recognized as one of the least carbon-efficient power stations in Europe.
