Eschweiler is a municipality located in the district of Aachen within the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is situated on the river Inde, positioned near the border shared by Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium.
The town is located approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) east of Aachen and about 50 kilometres (31 mi) west of Cologne.
