Drensteinfurt is a town located in the district of Warendorf within the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It occupies a geographic position approximately 15 km north of Hamm and 20 km south of Münster.
The municipality includes the villages of Rinkerode to the north and Walstedde to the south as part of its administrative boundaries.
