Bergkamen is a town located in the district of Unna within the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is situated south of the river Lippe.
The town's geographical position places it approximately 15 km (9 mi) north-east of Dortmund and 15 km (9 mi) south-west of Hamm.
