Wolfsburg is a city located in the German state of Lower Saxony. It is situated on the river Aller, positioned approximately 75 kilometres (47 mi) east of Hanover and 230 kilometres (143 mi) west of Berlin.
The city holds the rank of the fifth-largest municipality within the state of Lower Saxony.
