Wietze is a municipality located in the district of Celle within the state of Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated at the confluence of the Aller River and its tributary, the Wietze.
The town is positioned approximately 15 kilometers (9.3 mi) west of the city of Celle. One of its notable characteristics is that it serves as the site of the German Oil Museum.
