Ovelgönne is a municipality located in the district of Wesermarsch within the state of Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated approximately 27 km northeast of Oldenburg and 40 km northwest of Bremen.
The administrative headquarters for the municipality of Ovelgönne are located in the village of Oldenbrok rather than in the homonymous village of Ovelgönne.
