Otterndorf

Otterndorf is a coastal town located in the federal state of Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated on the coast of the North Sea and serves as part of the collective municipality of Land Hadeln within the administrative district of Cuxhaven.

The town is geographically positioned at the mouth of the river Medem, which is part of the Elbe delta. Its old town center, known as the Altstadt, is characterized by a number of traditional half-timbered houses.
