Langeoog

Langeoog is an inhabited East Frisian Island located at the edge of the Lower Saxon Wadden Sea in the southern North Sea. It is situated between Baltrum Island to the west and Spiekeroog to the east. The name Langeoog translates to "Long Island" in the Low German dialect.

The island serves as a municipality within the district of Wittmund in the German state of Lower Saxony. It is one of seven inhabited islands in the East Frisian chain.
