Holle is a village and municipality located in the district of Hildesheim within the state of Lower Saxony, Germany. Geographically, it is situated approximately 15 km southeast of the city of Hildesheim and 15 km west of Salzgitter.
The location gained notable cultural recognition through its inclusion in Tom Clancy's bestseller novel, Red Storm Rising.
