Himmelpforten is a municipality located in the district of Stade within the state of Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated to the west of Hamburg and lies along the Horsterbeck creek.
The town serves as the seat of the Samtgemeinde Oldendorf-Himmelpforten, which is an administrative collective municipality.
