Eschede is a municipality located in the district of Celle within the state of Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated approximately 15 kilometers northeast of the city of Celle.
The municipality lies at the border of the Südheide Nature Park, which is a protected area characterized by large forests and heaths. The "Gemeinde Eschede" currently comprises around 20 small villages.
