Delmenhorst is an urban district located in the state of Lower Saxony, Germany. It covers a total area of 62.36 square kilometers and has a population of approximately 74,500 residents, resulting in a population density of about 1,200 inhabitants per square kilometer.
The city is situated 10 kilometres west of downtown Bremen, forming a contiguous urban area with the larger city. It is also located 25 kilometres to the southeast of Oldenburg.
