Bad Pyrmont is a town located in the district of Hamelin-Pyrmont within the state of Lower Saxony, Germany. It has a population of approximately 19,000 and is situated on the river Emmer, roughly 10 km west of the Weser.
The town is well known as a popular spa resort that became a fashionable destination for princely vacations during the 17th and 18th centuries. Additionally, Bad Pyrmont serves as the center of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in Germany.
