Almstedt

Almstedt is a village and former municipality located in the district of Hildesheim within the state of Lower Saxony, Germany. As of November 1, 2016, it has been incorporated into the municipality of Sibbesse.

The area consists of the village of Almstedt and the smaller village of Segeste. Both locations are characterized by well-preserved half-timbered houses and notable old churches. Specifically, the church in Segeste was constructed in 1770.
