Achim, frequently referred to as Achim bei Bremen, is a municipality located in the state of Lower Saxony, Germany. It serves as the largest town within the district of Verden.
The town is situated on the right bank of the Weser river. Geographically, it is positioned approximately 16 kilometers southeast of Bremen and about 17 kilometers northwest of Verden.
