Viernheim

Viernheim is a midsize industrial town located on the outskirts of Mannheim in Germany. It is situated within the Rhine Neckar agglomeration and economic area, serving as an industrial hub for the region.

The town is the second largest municipality in the Bergstraße district of Hesse. Since 1994, it has held the title of Brundtlandstadt due to its participation in a specific energy conservation pilot project. Additionally, Viernheim hosted the eighth Hessentag state festival in 1968.
