Stadtallendorf is a town located in the district of Marburg-Biedenkopf in the German state of Hesse. It is situated approximately 18 kilometers east of the city of Marburg.
The town gained regional significance in 2010 when it served as the host site for the 50th Hessentag, a major state festival held in the state of Hesse.
