Korbach, officially known as the Hanseatic City of Korbach, is a city located in northern Hesse, Germany. It serves as the district seat for Waldeck-Frankenberg and possesses a history spanning over a thousand years.
The city is situated on the German Timber-Frame Road and gained significant recognition in 2018 when it hosted the 58th Hessentag state festival.
