Hofgeismar is a town located in the district of Kassel within northern Hesse, Germany. It is situated approximately 25 kilometers north of the city of Kassel and lies along the German Timber-Frame Road.
The town is notable for hosting the Hessentag state festival on two occasions, specifically in 1978 and 2015.
