Hesseneck is a village and former municipality located in the Odenwaldkreis district within the state of Hesse, Germany. It was historically recognized as the smallest self-governing community in the state of Hesse, with a population of just over 600 inhabitants.
As of January 2018, Hesseneck no longer functions as an independent municipality and is now part of the town of Oberzent.
