Bad Vilbel is a spa town located in the state of Hesse, Germany. It serves as the largest town within the Wetteraukreis district and is an integral part of the Frankfurt Rhein-Main urban area.

The city center is situated on the banks of the river Nidda, approximately 8 km northeast of downtown Frankfurt am Main. Bad Vilbel is primarily known for its numerous mineral water springs.
