Rissen is a quarter located within the city of Hamburg, Germany. It is situated in the borough of Altona and serves as the westernmost district of the city.
The area borders the German federal state of Schleswig-Holstein to its west, north, and northeast, while it is bordered by the Elbe river to the south. As of 2020, Rissen had a population of 16,051 residents.
