Steingaden is a municipality located in the Weilheim-Schongau district within the region of Upper Bavaria, Germany.
The town is notable for hosting two significant historical landmarks: the 12th-century Steingaden Abbey and the Wies Church. The latter is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
