Münchsmünster is a municipality located in the district of Pfaffenhofen within the state of Bavaria, Germany.
The town developed historically around the site of the former Münchsmünster Abbey. The abbey was demolished approximately in 1817, and its stones were subsequently repurposed for the construction of local houses.
