Leonberg is a town located in the German federal state of Baden-Württemberg. It is situated approximately 16 kilometers (10 miles) to the west of Stuttgart, which serves as the state capital.
The town has a population of about 45,000 people. It currently holds the distinction of being the third-largest borough within the rural district of Böblingen.
