Kümmersbruck is a municipality located in the Amberg-Sulzbach district within the state of Bavaria, Germany. It is situated approximately 3 km southeast of the city of Amberg. The landscape of the municipality is characterized by the Vils river, which crosses through the area.
The municipality is composed of seven distinct districts: Kümmersbruck, Haselmühl, Gärmersdorf, Moos, Haidweiher, Penkhof, Lengenfeld, and Engelsdorf. Additionally, a division of the German military maintains a station within the town.
