Kirchroth

Kirchroth is a municipality located in the district of Straubing-Bogen in Bavaria, Germany. The town is situated along the banks of the Danube River.

The current administrative boundaries of Kirchroth were established following a local government reform in May 1978. During this period, the villages of Kößnach, Oberzeitldorn, Obermiethnach, Pillnach, Pondorf, Niederachdorf, Aufroth, and Neuroth were incorporated into the municipality.
