Kelheim is a town and municipality located in the state of Bavaria, Germany. It serves as the administrative capital of the district of Kelheim.
The town is geographically situated at the confluence of the Altmühl and Danube rivers. As of 2020, the population of Kelheim was approximately 16,750 residents.
