Illesheim

Illesheim is a municipality located in the district of Neustadt (Aisch)-Bad Windsheim within the state of Bavaria, Germany. Founded in 1283 AD, the settlement's earliest historical leadership was associated with Götz von Berlichingen, a figure famously known as "the Knight with the Iron Hand."

The town is situated approximately 6 kilometers west of Bad Windsheim and 11 kilometers east of the A7 motorway. It serves as a rural municipality within its respective administrative district.
