Dorfprozelten is a municipality located in the Miltenberg district within the Regierungsbezirk of Lower Franconia (Unterfranken) in Bavaria, Germany. It is recognized as one of the oldest settlements situated on the Lower Main river.
Historically, the village was characterized by its involvement in inland river navigation and a major industry centered on sandstone quarrying. Today, Dorfprozelten has a population of nearly 1,800 residents.
