Bad Neustadt an der Saale, officially known as Bad Neustadt a.d.Saale, is a town located in northern Bavaria, Germany. It serves as the capital of the Rhön-Grabfeld district within the region of Lower Franconia.
The town is situated on the rivers Franconian Saale and Brend, positioned near the Rhön Mountains. Geographically, it lies approximately 30 km north of Schweinfurt and 47 km southeast of Fulda.
