Aichach is a town located in the German state of Bavaria. Situated just northeast of Augsburg, it serves as the capital of the district of Aichach-Friedberg. The municipality has a population of approximately 20,000 inhabitants.
The town is positioned near the A8 motorway, which provides a connection between Munich and Stuttgart. The local river in the area is known as the Paar.
