Wüstenrot is a municipality located in the Mainhardt Forest region of Germany. It serves as a residential area with a population of approximately 6,800 inhabitants.
More than half of the municipality's residents live within small incorporated villages. The village is also noted as the birthplace of the Wüstenrot Bausparkasse.
