Wieden is the fourth municipal district of Vienna, Austria. Located near the center of the city, it is characterized as a small region situated within the urban core.
The area was established as a formal district in 1850, though its borders have undergone changes since that time. Following World War II, Wieden was part of the Soviet sector of Vienna for a period of ten years.
