Weinheim is a German town located in the northwest region of Baden-Württemberg. It serves as part of the Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region, situated approximately 15 kilometers north of Heidelberg and 10 kilometers northeast of Mannheim.
The town has a population of about 43,000 inhabitants. It is notably recognized as the "Zwei-Burgen-Stadt," or the "town of two castles," due to the presence of two fortresses that overlook the settlement from the edge of the Odenwald forest in the east.
