Weil der Stadt is a town located in the Stuttgart Region of the German state of Baden-Württemberg. It has a population of approximately 19,000 inhabitants.
Situated in the valley of the River Würm, the town lies about 30 km (19 mi) west of the city centre of Stuttgart. It is frequently referred to as the "Gate to the Black Forest."
