Schwäbisch Hall is a city located in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. It is situated in the valley of the Kocher river, which serves as the longest tributary of the Neckar river.
The city lies northeast of the state capital, Stuttgart, and is positioned near the larger city of Heilbronn. Schwäbisch Hall also serves as the administrative seat of the district (Landkreis) of Schwäbisch Hall.
