Rheinstetten is a town located in the western part of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It sits on the border with Rhineland-Palatinate and is situated to the southwest of Karlsruhe. Administratively, the city belongs to the rural district of Karlsruhe.
The town is the fifth largest city within the Karlsruhe district, ranking smaller than Bruchsal, Ettlingen, Bretten, and Stutensee. Since 2005, Rheinstetten has been a member of the Technologieregion Karlsruhe, a regional organization focused on economy, science, culture, and administration.
