Remseck am Neckar is a Swabian town located in the district of Ludwigsburg within the German state of Baden-Württemberg. The town is situated at the confluence of the Rems and Neckar rivers, positioned approximately 12 km northeast of Stuttgart and 7 km southeast of Ludwigsburg.
The municipality was formed on January 1, 1975, originally under the name Aldingen am Neckar. It was renamed Remseck am Neckar in 1977 and has held the official status of a Große Kreisstadt since January 1, 2004.
