Rastatt is a town located in the district of Rastatt within the state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Situated in the Upper Rhine Plain along the Murg River, it lies approximately 6 km (3.7 mi) above its junction with the Rhine.
The town features a Baroque core and has a population of around 51,000 as of 2022. Historically, Rastatt was an important location during the War of the Spanish Succession and the Revolutions of 1848 in the German states.
