Leingarten is a town located in the district of Heilbronn within the state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated approximately 7 km west of the city of Heilbronn.
The municipality was officially formed on January 1, 1970, through the merger of the previous municipalities of Großgartach and Schluchtern.
