Königsbronn is a municipality located in the district of Heidenheim within the state of Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany. As an administrative community, it encompasses the villages of Itzelberg, Ochsenberg, and Zang.
The town is situated in the Brenz valley, which is part of the Swabian Jura hills. This region is characterized by a landscape shaped by karst limestone. Notably, a spring located near the town center serves as the source of the Brenz river, which is a tributary of the Danube.
