Kehl is a German city located in the southwestern state of Baden-Württemberg. With a population of approximately 38,000 inhabitants, it serves as the third-largest city within the Ortenaukreis district, following Offenburg and Lahr/Schwarzwald.
The city is situated in the region of Baden along the Rhine River at the confluence with the Kinzig River. It is positioned directly opposite the French and Alsatian city of Strasbourg.
